Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome

Welcome to South Wagga Public School, where we believe in nurturing the unique potential of every child. Our caring and supportive environment offers a wide range of opportunities to help each student grow and thrive through a broad and engaging education program.

At South Wagga Public School, we are incredibly proud of our diverse community and the value we place on student voice. Our students are truly the heart of our school, and their ideas, talents, and achievements make us proud to be public educators every day. Together, we create a welcoming and vibrant place where everyone belongs and thrives.

We are also proud of our rich history, which began in 1892 as Newtown Public School. Each year on Foundation Day, we celebrate the school’s birthday by learning about our fascinating past and formally recognising the incoming student leaders, connecting our present with our proud traditions.

Our students wear their uniform with pride, feeling a strong sense of belonging within our welcoming community. Our school motto, “Strive to Achieve with Pride,” is at the heart of everything we do, guiding the personal growth and wellbeing of every student.

We invite you to explore our website and discover what makes South Wagga Public School a special place to learn and grow. We look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
